Whatever the final day of the series, whatever happens, it is clear that Australia’s spinners were spectacular in Sri Lanka.
“He is bowling his best ball repeatedly, and challenging the guy’s defense, and we can only ask that he is to take so far in this series so far I think he was our best bowler.”
One of Australia’s best spinners, Leon took 5 wickets and became the third Australia bowler on Saturday – after Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath – can go for 550 wickets. However, others have also contributed. Todd Murphy, Travis Head and Beau Webster all took a wicket in Sri Lanka.
“Well, we are our skills – everyone of us is proud to improve each of us,” Lyon said. “For someone like Travis Head – we all know that he is an X -Factor player with the bat – to put a finger in the ice and continue to do those breakthroughs.
“But everyone works hard in their games and they want to take their roles. They want to have an impact for the Australian cricket team and that should be proud of them.”
It became a great success in Sri Lanka for Australia spinners and Lyon suggested that they were the center of what they tried to do on these pitchs.
“Really, we’re just talking about your best ball with the bowling process and hope it will lead to a number of opportunities here and there.”
