3 GT records that will probably never be broken in IPL history

Despite being established ahead of the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, Gujarat Titans (GT) has already accomplished a lot in its relatively short history.

In its first four seasons, the Ahmedabad-based team has reached the playoffs three times, including two finals, while winning one trophy. Their success is largely due to their first captain Hardik Pandya, who led them to title victory in 2022.

Now entering its fifth season, GT will look to build on its existing success and create a legacy of its own in the IPL.

Here's a look at three GT records that are arguably impossible to break:

GT has a record that is not going to be broken any time soon unless there is a new franchise on the horizon. They are the only team in IPL history to reach the final in their first two seasons of the tournament.

GT won the IPL trophy in its first year in 2022 by defeating Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the final at their home ground. Hence, he joined RR in winning the title in their first season, which the Jaipur-based team had achieved in 2008.

then HeartfeltThe -led team will be reaching their second IPL final in as many years, where they will face Chennai Super Kings. They were far away from winning their second title, but Ravindra Jadeja denied them the title by scoring 10 runs on the last two balls.
