Despite the unfortunate incident that happened during the mid-innings show, fans enjoyed a good cricket match which ultimately ended with RCB achieving their second consecutive title. Indian Premier League (IPL) Last. After scoring a mammoth score of 254 runs in the first innings, GT were all out for only 162 runs and fell short by 92 runs in the process.
While Patidar was the star with the bat, the entire bowling unit did the job to help the defending champions reach the showpiece final in Ahmedabad. Jacob Duffy was the best bowler, taking three wickets, including the crucial wicket of Sai Sudarshan. Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rasikh Salam and Krunal Pandya took two wickets each. Josh Hazlewood, on the other hand, took only one wicket, but that was the most important dismissal of GT skipper Shubman Gill.
The Titans will now await the winner of the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 to play the final on May 31.
