Why would both franchises face each other once in IPL 2025?
To ensure that there are a total of 74 matches in the tournament, BCCI has not yet chosen the option to adopt a double round-robin system as IPL has expanded in 10 teams in 2022. In the current system, one team plays twice twice and four teams once, two houses and two away. Each of the ten teams is divided into two groups by BCCI, and each team plays every team twice in their group. Each franchise only gets to play the other four teams in the other group once.
RCB and CSK will once again complete their fierce rivalry on 28 March and 3 May in remarkable days of 2025 IPL. KKR and RCB will also attend the final league stage match on 17 May.
