Tension was high during Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) home match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Virat Kohli And Travis Head is at the center of the action. This happened during SRH's win over the defending champions in Match 68 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL).
RCB were chasing a mammoth target of 256 runs in the second innings and things got heated quite quickly in the run chase. There was an argument on the field between Kohli and Head, due to which the confrontation between the two players did not end in the evening.
After the game, when the Royal Challengers lost by 55 runs, Kohli and the rest of the team went to shake hands with the winners, as is customary at the end of all cricket matches. However, when both the heroes came face to face, the Indian batsman completely ignored the left-handed opening batsman, which took him by surprise.

It is worth noting that Kohli's performance against SRH on Friday was not good. The 37-year-old scored just 15 runs off 11 balls before becoming the victim of Shakib Hussain. The former RCB captain was seen angry and disappointed after the game on telecast.
Despite RCB's heavy defeat in Hyderabad, Rajat Patidar's side still top the points table and have sealed their place in Qualifier 1, which will give them two chances to make it to the showpiece final to be held in Ahmedabad on May 31.
The top three finished their league stage with 18 points from 14 matches. Meanwhile, SRH missed out on a place in Qualifier 1. The 2016 champions finished third, with their net run-rate just 0.171 behind second-placed Gujarat Titans. This means that Pat Cummins' team will now play the first eliminator, facing either Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings or Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday, May 27.
RCB, on the other hand, will take on GT in Qualifier 1 on Tuesday, May 26.
