Star fast bowler of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Mohammed ShamiYashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel of Rajasthan Royals (RR) bowled sensationally during Match 32 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. LSG had opted to bowl first against RR on a difficult surface at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium for the all-important contest on Wednesday, April 22.
Knowing the troubles of RR opener Yashasvi Jaiswal against the short ball, Shami bowled a powerful bouncer at the left-hander. Jaiswal got a slight edge on the ball as the captain-cum-wicketkeeper completed an amazing leaping catch behind the wicket to give his team their first success of the match. Jaiswal had already hit four fours in his innings, but Shami ended the initial attack.
It didn't take long for Shami to hit his second and fourth stump balls of the evening. Dhruv Jurel Got a thick edge as the ace fast bowler bowled a ball which RR's No. 3 failed to let go. Jurel's ball flew straight behind the wickets and once again reached Pant, who took a very easy catch this time. After getting out, Shami was on a hat-trick, but Riyan Parag managed to handle him.
