Gujarat Titans Defeated Rajasthan Royals by 77 runs in the 52nd match of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Chasing a challenging score of 230, the Royals were bowled out by the magic of the Afghan leg spinner in the middle overs. Rashid KhanWho finished the game with four wickets as the Royals were bowled out for only 152 runs. After the game, the Titans uploaded a video which showed Rashid emptying his pockets to reveal a card with '+2' written on it, referring to the two points earned after defeating the Royals.

The video was apparently a reaction Ravindra JadejaCelebratory atmosphere in the match after the dismissal of Jos Buttler. In the Titans' batting innings, Buttler holed out towards mid-off in an attempt to dismiss Jadeja. After this, Jadeja pointed towards his pocket and mentioned that Butler was 'in his pocket'. This was the third time Jadeja dismissed Buttler in 10 IPL innings.

When invited to bat, Titans scored 229/4. The openers, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan top scored with half-centuries, with Gill scoring 84 runs from 44 balls. Royals got off to a great start with Vaibhav Suryavanshi scoring 36 off 16 balls, continuing his red-hot form for the season, but Rashid tightened the screws in the middle overs, breaking the back of the Royals innings. This is Rashid's first four in IPL after the 2023 season.
“Very happy. It was something unusual for me (in the last two seasons). This season I am all about enjoying myself and hitting the ball in the right areas consistently. Happy with that,” Rashid said after the match.
