[WATCH] IPL 2026: 'I take money for taking photos' – Vaibhav Suryavanshi made a great joke with children at the airport


teenage sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi Rajasthan Royals continue to attract attention with their heroics both on and off the field in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026 season.

Ahead of RR's upcoming clash against table toppers Punjab Kings, Suryavanshi was seen sharing a light-hearted moment with some young fans at the airport. In a video posted by the franchise on social media, a group of young fans approached him for a selfie, but received a cheeky response.

“Brother, I take money for taking photos. Sahi bol raha hoon bhai, (Brother, I take money for taking photos. I am serious),” said Suryavanshi, which left the kids in awe for a moment.

As the youngsters started leaving, he called them back and said, “Main 100 rupees leta hoon, poore doge to bolo,” (I usually take 100 rupees, if you can pay then let me know), he continued the mischief.

One of the kids even offered Rs 200, before the young batsman revealed that it was all just a joke, bringing smiles and relief to the group. The hilarious conversation quickly went viral, showcasing the teen's playful personality along with his rising stardom at the tournament.

The 15-year-old batsman has been in sensational form building on his impressive debut campaign last year. His latest highlight came in a high-scoring encounter Sunrisers Hyderabad, Where he scored a brilliant century in 57 balls to take RR to a total score of 228/6.

However, despite their heroics, Rajasthan Royals fell short as SRH chased down the target with five wickets in hand and nine balls to spare. After the defeat, Riyan Parag's team slipped to fourth place in the points table with five wins and three losses in their first eight matches. They have to face the in-form Punjab Kings on April 28 in Mullanpur.
