Virat Kohli's funny bowling made everyone laugh in Dharamshala

Royal Challengers Bangalore continued their dominance against Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2026 Qualifier 1 encounter at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala and amidst all the high-intensity cricket, Virat Kohli once again managed to entertain the fans with his trademark antics on the field.

During the change of overs in the second innings, Kohli marked his run-up in a funny manner and looked completely ready to bowl. His actions also convinced commentators and spectators that he was about to put his hand up for RCB. The crowd roared in anticipation as Kohli walked in solemnly, as if he was ready to bowl the next over.

However, the moment turned into pure comedy when Jacob Duffy casually arrived to collect the ball for the over. Kohli, instead of bowling, ran towards the umpire to take back the cap he had handed over moments earlier. The bizarre misunderstanding left players, commentators and fans baffled, adding yet another memorable moment to Kohli's entertaining personality on the field.

Talking about the game, RCB completely dominated against GT after scoring a huge score of 254/5 in their 20 overs. Rajat Patidar played a brilliant inning of 93 not out off just 33 balls with the help of five fours and nine sixes at an astonishing strike rate of 281.82. Kohli also played a quickfire inning of 43 runs in 25 balls, while the rest of the batting lineup played useful roles.

For GT, Kagiso Rabada took 2 wickets for 54 runs, while Jason Holder took 2 wickets for 39 runs. RCB seems to be firmly in control of the match due to excellent performance with both bat and ball.

The winner of the Qualifier 1 clash will secure a direct berth in the IPL 2026 final to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium on May 31. Meanwhile, the losing team will get another chance through Qualifier 2, which will be played in Mullanpur on May 29.
