'Two Good News' – Urvil Patel revealed to receive offers from both CSK, RCB on the same day

Urvil revealed how he had to take a difficult decision, which eventually looked at him with a yellow jersey from Don.

“After an hour, I received a call from CSK. Srikanth sir called me from scouting and said that they are considering me as a replacement player. So, be ready. So, I was confused. I said, 'Sir, RCB also called me.' He said that he was sure about my joining the team.

Although CSK did not qualify for the playoffs in 2025 and ended under the table, Uril's performance attracted significant attention. He showed in three matches and scored 68 runs at a strike rate of 212.5, winning two of those matches.

In particular, he convinced his father to participate in an IPL game, not only to see his son playing, but also to meet the legendary captain MS Dhoni.

He said, “My parents hesitate to see me playing. I told my father whether you watch the game or not, I want you to meet Mahi Bhai. My father had come to watch the match especially because of him.”
