Gujarat Titans (GT) Kagiso Rabada praises Rajasthan Royals (RR) glory of suryavanshi The talent of hitting incredible sixes during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The 15-year-old has hit more sixes (40 in 11 innings) than any other batsman this season.
Rabada described Suryavanshi as a great talent and praised his quick hands and fearless approach while batting. The South African fast bowler said that youngsters like him make the IPL attractive to watch.
“He is a great talent. He has very quick hands. He is fearless at the moment. There is not the slightest fear in his body. That's usually what happens when you are young, it is really fascinating. It is great to see it in the game of cricket, in the IPL. The game is good and really alive. Who else will come and make headlines like that? Let's wait and see,” Rabada was quoted as saying by India Today.
Rabada said that Suryavanshi is a player who has the X-factor and his fearless batting is the secret of his real success.
“What I'm thinking about is he's just another batsman, and I try to be better than him. He's definitely an X-factor player, someone who is bringing attention to the game. Brilliant. Really quick hands. No fear. It's an amazing combination,” he said.
Rabada said that he does not make any special plans while playing against an established batsman, even when facing in-form young players like Suryavanshi.
He said, “I just feel like coming into a season, no matter what team you're playing for, I'm just here to try my best and leave it at that. Whatever the result is, it's going to be that way.”
Rabada is running a tremendous campaign with the ball. He is leading the bowling attack of the Titans. The 30-year-old player has taken 21 wickets in 12 matches at an average of 20.05 and strike rate of 13.14. His economy rate is also quite good at 9.15.
