Mumbai Indians Defeated Lucknow Super Giants by six wickets at Wankhede Stadium in the 47th match of the Indian Premier League.

After being invited to bat, Lucknow Super Giants got off to a fast start in the powerplay, with Mitchell Marsh taking the MI bowlers to task. Marsh was soon joined by Nicholas Pooran, who was finally back in form and back to his best. Puran thrashed the MI bowlers and completed his half-century in just 16 balls, which was his first half-century of this season. He put on a partnership of 94 runs off just 35 balls with Marsh, who took a back seat for most of the partnership.

Super Giants were on their way to score above 250, but after this there was a brilliant bowling performance from Mumbai Indians. Corbin Bosch gave a double blow to LSG's innings by dismissing Pooran and Marsh in the same over, from which they could not recover. Aiden Markram scored 31 not out off 25 balls and Himmat Singh scored 40 not out off 31 balls as Mumbai Indians pulled things back in the death overs and restricted Lucknow Super Giants to 228/5.

Ryan Rickelton and comeback help Mumbai Indians take on Lucknow Supergiants early Rohit Sharma Took the Super Giants bowlers all around the park. The pair put together a brilliant partnership of 143 runs off just 65 balls, setting the stage for the chase. Rickelton was out after scoring 83 runs in just 32 balls, but Rohit, returning from a hamstring injury, played a brilliant inning of 84 runs in 44 balls. Naman Dhir scored 23 runs off 12 balls and remained unbeaten to help Mumbai Indians win with eight balls to spare and complete the team's biggest run-chase in IPL history.
