Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) won easily by five wickets Rajasthan Royals (RR) At Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur Saturday, April 25. With this win, Pat Cummins' team has reached level points with RR and defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, they are ranked third in the table due to net run-rate.
Batting first on home soil, RR scored 228 runs on the board in 20 overs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the star of the show by scoring a brilliant century in just 36 balls. The 15-year-old scored his second IPL century in as many years to enthrall the Jaipur crowd. He had a great partnership with Dhruv Jurel, who scored 51 runs in 35 balls.
In reply, SRH easily chased down the target with nine balls to spare. Despite losing Travis Head in the first over, the 2016 champions steadied their innings thanks to Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan. The pair scored 57 and 74 respectively to ensure that the required run-rate never became an issue for the visitors. Nitish Kumar Reddy provided the finishing touch by scoring 36 not out at a strike-rate of 200.
