Shreyas Iyer's one handed magical six off Lungi Ngidi's ball

right handed batsman Shreyas Iyer Hit a six with one hand against Lungi Ngidi during the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in the 55th match of IPL 2026.

Facing Ngidi's slower ball, Iyer was completely deceived by the lack of pace. The ball arrived much later than expected and for a moment it looked as if he had misplayed the stroke.

However, the right-hander displayed exceptional timing and strokeplay to adjust to the length of the ball in the final seconds. Despite losing his lower hand during the shot, Iyer somehow managed to send the ball over mid-off and clear the ropes with ease.

Despite being outclassed in flight and speed, timing and control made the stroke even more special. It was a shot that was a mix of instinct and balance.
