After CSK posted a competitive score of 180, SRH were comfortably chasing the target before Noor Ahmed made the breakthrough in the 15th over. While bowling the third ball of the over, Noor bowled a googly over the wicket. Klaasen attempted to create space and play an inside-out shot from the off side, but the ball spun sharply and hit the outside edge of the bat.
As Klaasen lost his balance during the shot, his back foot momentarily went out of the crease. Samson reacted quickly behind the stumps and completed a sharp stumping before the batsman could get his foot back in. Klaasen was out after playing an important inning of 47 runs.
