He got solid support from Ravindra Jadeja, who remained unbeaten on 45*. In the final over, Donovan Ferreira scored a quickfire 38* off just 11 balls to give the team a late lead. For Gujarat Titans, Kagiso Rabada took 2 wickets for 35 runs, while Jason Holder took 2 wickets for 27 runs.
The winner of the clash will advance to the Indian Premier League 2026 final and face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on May 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. GT finished second in the league stage but lost to RCB in Qualifier 1. Meanwhile, RR finished the league stage in fourth place and booked their place in Qualifier 2 by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Eliminator.
