Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) play their final league game of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) when they travel to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Friday, 22nd.
The two sides faced each other on the opening day of the 2026 season, with the defending champions winning by six wickets at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. Rajat Patidar's team has collected 18 points in 13 matches and has qualified for the playoffs. However, a win against SRH will guarantee them a place in Qualifier 1, giving them two chances to reach the final.
RCB have arguably been the best team during the league stage of the tournament, which has largely depended on how stable their first-choice playing XI has been. They have match-winners with both bat and ball and they never rely on just one player to help them win.
Here is the strongest predicted XI of RCB vs SRH, Match 67, IPL 2026:
Top order: Venkatesh Iyer, Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal

In 13 matches this season, Virat Kohli has opened with an English batsman, be it Phil Salt or Jacob Bethel. However, there is a possibility that the latter could be replaced Venkatesh IyerDepending on the form of the left-handed player. He scored an unbeaten 73 against Punjab Kings in the last game and is also an adequate top-order batsman in the IPL.
According to reports, Phil Salt is back from England after recovering from his finger injury, but he is expected to return to the playing eleven in the playoffs.
