An elderly fan got injured after being hit by a six Priyansh Arya In the Punjab Kings match against Lucknow Super Giants at the Maharaja Yadvendra Singh International Stadium, New Chandigarh on 19 April. A video of a fan sitting in the stands, whose face was bleeding profusely from an injury, was going viral on social media.
In a video uploaded by the franchise on social media, the fan identified as Krishna Chand Kamboj was seen sharing a video conference with franchise co-owner Preity Zinta and Priyansh. Chand revealed that the ball hit him above his eyebrow, where the impact caused a cut.
The young cricketer expressed concern over the injury, saying that he was worried after watching the video on social media. In a heartfelt gesture, Zinta invited the fan to the Kings' next home match in Dharamshala.
