Emma McLeod (44) was the highest scorer from New Zealand, but only two-sixth of her team came in double figures, and there was only one partnership which was spreading the last 20 balls.
Priyadhara Roshni left for a decent beginning for Captain Suji Bates's 14-Gunds of Captain Suji Bates, despite quickly dismissing Georgia Plimer. Madara, Sri Lanka's fourth bowling option was brought to the fifth over, a big wicket of Bates, which dried up in scoring. The next two overs went for just five runs.

McLeod, who had three fours in the first five balls, finished without adding that tally to his 46 -ball innings. She was the last New Zealand batsman, as Madara ended the innings.
Soon after Dilhari exiting, he hit Eden Carson for four and gave two sixes and a four off -breeting smack, the first of the six brought fifty to fifty off 43 balls. It left no place to the hosts, as Sri Lanka won with 35 balls.
