Gujarat Titans fast bowler Mohammad Siraj Made an immediate impact against Chennai Super Kings in match number 66 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the Narendra Modi Stadium on 21 May.
Siraj dismissed Sanju Samson on the very first ball of the innings on a ball going outside the off stump. Samson attempted a loose drive away from his body but could only take a thick outside edge, which was safely collected by wicketkeeper Jos Buttler.
The right-arm fast bowler continued his aggressive spell in the third over as well. After being hit for a six by Ruturaj Gaikwad, Siraj responded brilliantly on the very next ball with a ball of short length around the off stump. Gaikwad failed to choose the length as the ball went under his bat and hit the off stump.
After this, Siraj took another wicket by dismissing Urvil Patel in the same over. Bowling a length ball around middle and leg, he induced the batsman to take a mistimed whip shot. The ball went towards deep square leg, where Prasidh Krishna completed a good catch to leave CSK under early pressure.
