J Shah Shah can become an ICC chair for two conditions of every three years instead of three -year -old conditions, which is the current criteria, after handling on 1 December. This after the ICC board, who met in Dubai. Weekend, recommended that the word – to the chair and independent director – be replaced.
In a statement on Monday, the ICC stated that the recommendation would now be “operated for approval” among its members, which would include complete and collaborative members.
While no reason behind the recommendation was made public, it is understood that this step is part of the ICC drive for better governance. The ICC board believes that it will provide security and stability to both the chair and independent director, who sit on the ICC board, without worrying about the elections every two years. Also, while the overall word of six years is the same, there will be more continuity.

Member and Associate Member side believes in the last six years. That I have a good understanding of challenges that face collaborative countries and players.
Women’s FTP for 2025-2029 will be out soon
The ICC Chief Executive Committee (CEC) approved the transfer of the calendar for the annual update of women from 1 October to 1 May every year. To reflect the ranking, teams will currently have to play at least eight matches per format (ODI and T20I) contrary to six. This is due to an increase in the amount of cricket of women.
The construction of two annual T20I tournaments between 2025 and 2028 for associate teams has also been approved. It is to promote the competition before the 16-Team Women’s T20 World Cup in 2030.
