East Royal Challengers Bangalore RCB shifted the incident between the ceremony after winning its first Indian Premier League (IPL) title, ending the 17 -year -old drought.
Mallya said that it was a heartbreaking to see a joyous opportunity into a tragedy. He also increased his condolences to the families of the victims and said that he was surprised by the huge crowd gathering near the Chinnaswamy Stadium to celebrate the victory.
“It is very sad that those who came out to celebrate, they did not eventually go home. It is heartbreaking that those who came for such a joyful occasion met the tragedy. I have increased my heartfelt condolences for all the affected families. I was amazed to see it on television – the number of people was just one -sided,” the garland said.
Mallya also admitted that he would avoid commenting extensively on the incident, as he did not have full knowledge of the circumstances around it. But, he admitted that after the historic victory of RCB, the whole city was in a festive mood, and it was deeply unfortunate that during such a sad incident, it was during such a sad incident of what the moment of happiness should have been.
“I am not going to comment on why this tragic incident happened because I do not know enough. It would be unfair to make any comment for me. But the fact that people have lost their lives, are very sad, especially when the whole of Bangalore and all fans were celebrating. I cannot say much.”
On Wednesday, 11 people died in a stampede in Bengaluru and many others were injured. Prima Facial, it appears that the incident was caused by insufficient plan and insufficient police attendance, gathered to manage a huge crowd of millions, eventually leading to the tragedy.
