IPL: 5 players who probably won't play next season

Indian Premier League (IPL) I have seen many superstars from around the world compete and succeed on the big stage. However, with each passing season, the established players move back, giving way to younger and talented players to take their places in the teams.

Due to many reasons players do not return to IPL. Some of them simply hung up their boots and decided to leave the game, while others were forced to leave the season due to poor form or unfortunate injury. There have also been instances in the past where foreign players have pulled out of the IPL season due to their upcoming international commitments.

Here are five players who probably won't play IPL next season:

5. Trent Boult – Mumbai Indians

The left-arm fast bowler took just two wickets in five matches at an economy rate of 11.62. Midway through the tournament, MI dropped their star bowler and started favoring South Africa's Corbin Bosch.

Boult will turn 37 in the coming months, so it would not be surprising if MI releases him before the 2027 season and he does not return to the IPL again.
