Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) registered a comprehensive win against Delhi Capitals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Tuesday, April 21.
Axar Patel won the toss and decided to bowl first. However, there was not much help on the surface which the bowlers could take advantage of. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma put Sunrisers in a strong position with a partnership of 97 runs in 53 balls. Captain Ishan Kishan joined Abhishek in the middle after the former was out for 37.
Abhishek attacked the bowlers with his exemplary ball-striking. Ishan Kishan did not get many strikes, but whenever he got, he made his presence felt. The left-handed pair stitched a 79-run partnership in just 35 balls, much to the delight of the home fans. In the 14th over, when Abhishek was batting on 86 runs, Nitish Rana dropped his catch. The Punjab batsman took full advantage of his life by punishing the Delhi bowlers.
After Kishan was out after scoring 25 runs in 13 balls, Heinrich Klaasen came in the middle and scored 37 runs in just 13 balls. This impressive cameo helped Sunrisers take them from a good score to a match-winning score. In the end, they finished with 242/2 in 20 overs.
In reply, Sunrisers got an early wicket in the third over when Dilshan Madushanka dismissed compatriot Pathum Nissanka. However, KL Rahul and Nitish Rana kept Delhi's hopes alive by making a partnership of 86 runs in 45 balls.
However, Delhi lost three wickets at 107 as Sunrisers got the momentum back in their favour. Tristan Stubbs and Sameer Rizvi kept Delhi's hopes alive by making a partnership of 59 runs in 33 balls. However, in the end he had a lot of catching up to do. The Orange Army restricted the visitors to 195/9 in 20 overs and won the match by 47 runs.

2. Heinrich Klaasen's explosive form continues
