In a high scoring thriller, Rajasthan Royals India registered a six-wicket win over Punjab Kings in Match 40 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at Mullanpur on Tuesday, April 28.
Asked to bat first, PBKS posted a strong score of 222/4 in 20 overs. Priyansh Arya set the tone in the beginning by playing a stormy inning of 29 runs in 11 balls, while Prabhsimran Singh played an inning of 59 runs. Contributions from Cooper Connolly and captain Shreyas Iyer kept the momentum going, before Marcus Stoinis led the innings with an unbeaten 62 off 22 balls.
