Three-time IPL champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will make their much-awaited return to the iconic Eden Gardens, Kolkata as they take on Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 60th match of IPL 2026 on May 16.

It has been a disappointing season so far for the Kolkata-based franchise, winning only four of their first 11 matches and currently sitting eighth on the points table. A win against GT is necessary to stay in the competition.

The Titans, on the other hand, are flying into IPL 2026 after a mixed start to their season. The IPL 2022 champions enter this competition as clear favorites as they are on a five-match winning streak. If they are victorious, GT will strengthen their playoff chances.
