Delhi Capitals will face Kolkata Knight Riders in match number 51 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. This match will be played on Friday, May 8 at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
The Knights are an in-form team, having won three consecutive matches. However, there is no margin for error for them as they have already lost five out of nine matches due to their poor start to the season. They would like to continue the winning streak.
Meanwhile, the story of the Capitals has been almost the opposite of that of the three-time champions. Axar Patel and Co. won their first two matches in IPL 2026. However, they have won only two more matches in the next eight. The capitals need to work together as soon as possible.

Rinku Singh vs Kuldeep Yadav
Rinku Singh The season got off to a slow start. He lacked the flow that we associate with his batting. However, he has regained form in the last three matches. After back-to-back fifties, Rinku scored an unbeaten 22 off 11 balls in the last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
His Uttar Pradesh teammate, Kuldeep Yadav, will be looking to get the better of the southpaw on Friday. While Kuldeep has not been at his best, taking seven wickets in 10 matches, the left-arm wrist spinner is always a threat. It will be interesting to watch his battle with Rinku in the middle overs.
