Royal Challengers Bangalore will host Delhi Capitals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in the 26th match of the 2026 Indian Premier League on April 18.
The defending champions have made a strong start to their season with four wins from five matches, and are unbeaten at home in three matches. They will try to carry this momentum forward with another win.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, started their campaign with two wins, but after two losses their performance has derailed a bit. The teams are full of superstars who can take the game away from the opponent.
Here are the three most important player battles from Match 26:
3) Rajat Patidar vs Kuldeep Yadav

captain Rajat Patidar The defending champions have been the best batsman in the 2026 season, essentially batting in sixth gear. He has played five matches, in which he has scored 222 runs at a tremendous strike rate of 213.46. He has played his role of attacking in the middle overs very well, coming in from the very first ball and facing the bowlers. A dangerous spin-hitter, Patidar has scored 197.1 against spin-bowling in 2026.
Their matchup and potential threat comes in the form of Delhi -Kuldeep Yadav.
