He made a brilliant partnership of 115 runs with Devdutt Padikkal (55 off 27 balls).

Kohli's innings set the stage for the chase, ensuring that the defending champions reached home comfortably despite losing late wickets. He was also given the Player of the Match award for his brilliant innings.

Kohli has been in tremendous form this season, looking fresh and trying to face the bowlers right from the start. He has scored 328 runs at a strike rate of 163.18. He has scored 169.4 in the powerplay this season, which is his highest score in his IPL career.

With this win, Royal Challengers concluded the Bengaluru leg of IPL 2026 with a resounding win. They won four out of five matches in Bengaluru and will now play their last two home matches of the league stage at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur.
