Ravichandran Ashwin was surprised Virat Kohli's The intensity during the Qualifier 1 encounter between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala on Tuesday, May 26.
After scoring 43 runs off 25 balls in the first innings and helping the defending champions post a strong score of 254/5, Kohli's energy on the field was on top. Ashwin said that Kohli's celebration after losing GT's wicket made it look as if the former Indian captain was bowling.
“Did you see Virat's celebration when the first four wickets fell? He took the first four wickets. [It seemed like he had taken those four wickets]. Where do you get this intensity from? Every wicket, how is it celebrating like your wicket, man? (How can you celebrate every wicket as if it is your wicket?) I enjoyed it a lot,” Ashwin said in a video on his YouTube channel.
Ashwin said that Kohli's energy and intensity on the field is inhuman. The 37-year-old shows no signs of slowing down.
“He is not human [He is not human]. That's something else. He has come from another planet. I don't know where he came from; He is not a human being,” Ashwin said.
