Indian Premier League The (IPL) 2026 final will see a high-voltage encounter between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT). Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, 31 May.
RCB booked their direct ticket to the summit clash after a dominant performance in the league stage and an emphatic 92-run win over Titans in Qualifier 1. GT, who finished the regular season with the same nine-win record but missed out on the top spot due to a lower net run rate, earned their redemption by making a strong comeback in Qualifier 2 to set up this final rematch.
The defending champions are banking on the brilliant form of Virat Kohli and captain Rajat Patidar, balanced by the experienced seam-bowling of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Meanwhile, the Titans have brought a very balanced unit on their home ground, led by the explosive opening pair of Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan.
Here are the 3 players to watch in the IPL 2026 final:
3. Shubman Gill vs Bhuvneshwar Kumar

In a high-profile contest between two of the most in-form players of IPL 2026, Shubman will be up against the might of Gill Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The GT captain is currently the second highest run-scorer in the league, having scored 722 runs so far. He is coming after scoring a sensational century against RR in Qualifier 2 to take his team to the final.
Bhuvneshwar, on the other hand, has been RCB's best bowler this season, especially with the new ball. The right-arm fast bowler has taken 26 wickets so far and can cause trouble for anyone. He will be RCB's trump card in this high-pressure match against GT.
