IPL 2026: 'Dedicated to Gujarat Education Minister' – Ravindra Jadeja credits wife after match-winning show for RR


Star all-rounder of Rajasthan Royals Ravindra Jadeja Produced a brilliant performance to get his team back to winning ways, helping them end their two-match losing streak with a stunning win over Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

In a touching moment after the game, Jadeja dedicated his 'Player of the Match' award to his wife Rivaba Jadeja, who is currently a minister in Gujarat. The southpaw revealed that he had predicted his impressive performance a day before the game, making the gesture even more special.

Coming into a difficult position with RR struggling at 77/5, Jadeja brilliantly led the innings with an unbeaten 43. He stitched a crucial 49-run partnership with influential player Shubham Dubey (19* off 11), helping the Royals ensure a competitive total of 159 on the challenging surface.

He then made his presence felt with the ball as well and broke an important partnership by dismissing Nicholas Pooran, who was beginning to look dangerous along with Mitchell Marsh during the chase.
