RCB vs MI, Match 54

In a tournament where scores over 200 have become the norm, nervously chasing a score close to 160 is always a breath of fresh air. Same thing happened when Royal Challengers Bangalore hosted Mumbai Indians in Raipur. Invited to bat, the five-time champions soon got a shock on the spicy pitch Bhuvneshwar KumarWho took three wickets in the powerplay. Despite early setbacks, they scored a total of 166 runs for 7 wickets with the help of Tilak Verma's 57 runs and Naman Dheer's 47 runs.
The eventual champions failed to chase their target, with Deepak Chahar taking two early wickets in the powerplay, including the duck of Virat Kohli on the first ball. Despite the fall of wickets, Krunal Pandya steadied the innings by scoring 73 runs in 46 balls, with Corbin Bosch taking 4 wickets for 26 runs. Pandya was out with two overs remaining and RCB still needed 17 runs. Jasprit Bumrah gave just three runs in the last over, but a strong blow from Bhuvneshwar and extra runs helped RCB win on the last ball of the game with three wickets remaining.
