Chennai Super Kings (CSK) played the role of Vijay Shankar in 11th game IPL 2025 Against Rajasthan Royals (RR). Shankar caught his first presence of the season, in the ongoing match at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati during the first innings, caught a stunning grip to dismiss Vanindu Hasranga.
Ravindra Jadeja delivered a full-different delivery on the slot, which tempted the batsman to go for a big slog sweep. The ball traveled to deep mid -wicket. Eyes on the ball with sticking eyes, running in Shankar, took a dip towards the direction of the ball, and took a catch. The Tamil Nadu cricketer was extremely conscious of putting his hands under the ball. The on-foot umpire went up to check whether the catch was clean or not, however, Repley confirmed that it was clean as a whistle.

This was a dream for Shankar with his new team this season. He will expect a good and memorable time with the bat. CSK's playing unit lacks huge strikers, and all -rounder will be keen to play that role in the middle order. Meanwhile, Nitish Rana knocked a brilliant 81 -run knock in 36 balls, with ten borders and five sixes, helping RR reach a decent total.
