Sanjay Bangar requested MS Dhoni After Chennai Super Kings (CSK), he lost to Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday, 20 May to pull the curtain down on his magnificent Indian Premier League's career.
Yellow men lost their 10th match of the season as they failed to protect the 188 -run target against the inaugural champion. Dhoni knocked on 17 balls in 17 balls in the backnd of CSK's innings, in which Ryan hit Palag's bowling with just one six. The legendary cricketer has never been a part of a team which ended at the bottom of the points table in the IPL. However, after Tuesday's defeat, CSK will require a miracle to avoid wooden spoon.
Dhoni has fought to live up to his capacity in IPL 2025. Last season, 43 -year -old mesmer fans with their ability to hit sixes with the first ball. However, in the ongoing version, he has managed 196 runs from an average of 24.50 on an average of 196 runs and a strike rate of 135.18.
“All this boils for MS, but if I was MS, I would say that it is enough. Whatever I wanted to play; I have seen with the interest of the franchise – if it was an inspiration – if it was – but you know, you move forward,” Bangar said, “Bangar said while talking to ESPNCINCINFO.
Bangar also said that the 43 -year -old should not be worried about the infection of Super Kings as it will be on its own.
“You are going there, if you are thinking that the infection will be faster, there is never an ideal time. So you may have peace with the fact that even if I leave now, the franchise will develop in itself. It may take longer in a year, but I am not going there for the entire cycle,” India's batting coach said.
RR chased an additional six wickets in 17.1 overs. CSK will stop its campaign by facing Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, 25 May.
