How Kolkata Knight Riders are still eligible for playoffs?


Defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) entered IPL 2025 The goal of the season is to secure his fourth title. However, the journey has been a mixed bag for Ajinkya Rahane -led side.

  • 12 points (6 wins): Rare, only once a team is eligible with 12 points (SRH in 2019)

  • VS RR (16 May)

If they lose two matches and end with 15 or less digits, KKR may qualify on a better NRR basis.

Lucknow Super Giants – 10 points (10 matches)

  • VS PBK (4 May)
  • VS RCB (9 May)
  • VS GT (14 May)
  • VS SRH (18 May)

LSG can reach a maximum of 18 points, but if they lose two games, they will be stuck to 14 or 16, which will open the option to qualify for KKR.


Want match for KKR

  • Vs CSK – CSK has already been abolished, but the chances of qualifying the KKR may deteriorate.
  • VS SRH -SRH currently ups six points, but mid -table clash is very important.
  • VS RCB – As part of the controversy for the playoffs with RCB, the clash will be a possible knockout game. RCBs are still table toppers, and the game will be a decisive for both teams.
