Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) bowlers Digvesh Rathi On Wednesday, April 22, Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee took a breathtaking catch to dismiss in-form Vaibhav Suryavanshi off the bowling of Mohsin Khan during the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Ekana International Cricket Stadium.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) were put to bat by LSG captain Rishabh Pant and had a poor start to their innings, losing the wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel early in the same over. However, things would get worse in Mohsin's next over.
Bowling against the destructive Suryavashi, Mohsin had the upper hand and bowled five consecutive dot balls. Under pressure to score, Suryavanshi skied a short ball which was tracked back by two fielders to take a catch.
In the end, it was Rathi who judged the trajectory of the ball with perfection and calmly settled under the ball to take an excellent catch. This resulted in Mohsin having to bowl a maiden over. lsg On the front foot in a crucial encounter against RR.
