After Finn Allen's big catch in the KKR vs MI encounter at the Eden Gardens, Deepak Chahar grabbed everyone's attention for his unique celebration as he pretended to take out a chit note from his pocket and even flaunted a non-existent object for the shutterbugs in Match 65 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Wednesday, May 18.
Chahar came in to open the attack for Mumbai Indians as they aimed to defend the target of 148 runs against the hosts. To start with, Allen hit a few fours off the ace fast bowler to show immediate charge. However, the MI bowler kept his composure and enjoyed the last laugh, riding through Allen's defense with an inswinging pearler on the final ball of the over which ricocheted back to the KKR opener.
As the stumps began to cartwheel, Chahar followed the trend of players taking out notes from their pockets after a historic moment in the match, but there was a twist attached to it.
