Winning the toss and electing to bat first, RR once again scored 214 runs on the board thanks to the brilliant batting of Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He was well supported by Ravindra Jadeja, who scored an unbeaten 45, while Donovan Ferreira's 38 off 11 balls gave him a brilliant end to his innings.
Although the score was not enough, the Titans chased it down with relative ease. It all depended on openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan. Captain Gill scored 104 off 53 balls to bring up his first century of the season, which included some mesmerizing shots around the ground.
