Chennai Super Kings defeated Delhi Capitals by eight wickets at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday, May 5. This is their second consecutive win as they defeated Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals back to back.

Stubbs was out after scoring 38 runs in 31 balls, while Rizvi remained unbeaten after scoring 40 runs in 24 balls. Ashutosh Sharma scored 14 runs in five balls, as the hosts finished at 155/7.
In reply, Chennai lost the wicket of Ruturaj Gaikwad early. Before getting out, Urvil Patel hit two sixes off Lungi Ngidi. sanju samson And Karthik Sharma joined in and their partnership of 114 runs off 66 balls dashed the home team's hopes.
The former player scored 87* runs in 52 balls with the help of seven fours and six sixes. Meanwhile, Karthik scored unbeaten 41 runs in 31 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes.
