Bangladesh 4 for 142 (Tohid 37*, Jongway 3-35) Beat Zimbabwe 7 for 138 (Campbell 45, Bennett 44*, Taskin 2-18, Rishad 2-33) by six wickets
Hridoy hit two sixes and three fours in his unbeaten 25-gend 37, with 31 runs for the fourth wicket with Jesar Ali and 49 runs with Mahmudullah, who hit a large-scale sixes in his unbeaten 26 off 16 balls.
Zimbabwe slowly begins
The top order of Zimbabwe struggled to go to the powerplay. Although he loses only one wicket – Tadivanshi Marumani pinned LBW by Taskin – he kept hitting the fielder or was late on shots. He scored only 22 runs in the first six overs and did not hit a limit in that stage for the second time in T20 cricket. It was only the second time that Bangladesh did not accept a limit in the powerplay.
Joylord Dubi finally got Seema in seventh place, but fell into the next, out of mid-off for 17, the lowest score for Zimbabwe's opener in at least 30 balls. In the tenth over, the Rishad's double strike was an important stage of the game, as he got rid of Zimbabwe captain Sikander Raza and Clive Madande, who was the top scorer from T20i earlier.
At the wrong time of Craig Erwin, Mahdi Hasan made Zimbabwe 42 to 5 in the 11th over and another sub-mercy looked unavoidable.
Glow on campbell debut
Jonathan Campbell, son of former Zimbabwe captain Alastair, gave his team something to bowl with a sharp innings. When he was at 1, he was dropped – wicketkeeper Zakar Ali ran towards Square -Leg, but could not catch the wrong hit from Mahdi Hasan – and three sixes and four fours in his innings went for 45 off 24 balls, with 73 for the sixth wicket with Bennett.
In the 13th over, Campbell swooped the noisy Islam for the first six of Zimbabwe and Bennett smoke Taskin on midwick in the 15th. Campbell hit the Rishad and Saifuddin for sixes in the next two overs; Bennett slammed the noise directly in the 18th over.
After Campbell's dismissal, Bennett finished Zimbabwe a strong finish, killing one four and one six as he scored 18 runs in the final. He ended at 44 unbeaten on 44 off 29 balls, and ended 138 for Zimbabwe 7.
Bangladesh slip
Bangladesh made a good start in his chase. Litton Das, this year is struggling for runs in White-Ball cricket, Ramp-Schooed blessed Mujrabani for six on the wicketkeeper in the second over. His early fellow Tanjid Hasan slipped the Ein Nadlovu for his first six in the fourth over. But left-arrow spinner Ndlovu made the first success for Zimbabwe in the sixth over when Tanjid delivered a little fast to Midwick.
Just when it seemed that he was followed in his fist in Bangladesh, things started happening. Litton was removed from Raza by Luke Jongve at 21. Jongve then prepared for a mistake with two wickets in his following: Captain Najmul Hussain Shantio caught Long-And Liton at a backward point for 23.
Hridoy gets work
Tohid and Zakar Ali chased before taking borders from the 12th over. Zakar launched Jongve for his first six on midwicket, when Hridoy slapped him through a point for four. The cunning of Hridoy came to light when he cut Raza lightly for four through third man.
When Richard Nagrawa rejected Zakar in the 14th over, it brought Bangladesh's best finisars together. In the last four overs, Hridoy and Mahmudullah chased Jongve scoring 16th in the 17th over, with 33 in the last four overs.
Mahmudullah launched Richard Narwawa on midwicket for 103 meters six, and then Hridoy sent him to six and all on foot, but finished the game.
