A few days after Kohli's clarification, Avneet was seen by Paprazi in Mumbai and asked about the viral Instagram incident. In response, the actress was seen shy and covered by her face, and she sat inside her car and turned her hands. Despite repeated questions, the actress did not say a single word.

The incident began when Avneet, who posted a series of photographs on Instagram, was seen wearing a green top with a printed rap skirt, seen that his images were being liked by the star cricketer.
Fans saw the conversation when the post was resumed by a fan club, but was soon removed. Many people questioned the cricketer's intention behind the engagement. To end the growing speculation, Kohli asked to clarify the incident on his Instagram stories on 2 May.

“I would like to clarify that while cleaning its feed, it appears that the algorithm may have recorded a conversation by mistake. There was no intention behind it. I request that no unnecessary perception be made. Thank you for your understanding,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, Kohli is currently busy with the ongoing IPL 2025, Royal Challengers are playing for Bangalore, and currently the most run charts in this season, with 505 runs in 11 innings.
