Former T20 captain of India Suryakumar Yadav IPL 2025 was very bad for Mumbai Indians (MI). The right-handed batsman scored only 270 runs at a good strike rate of 147.54. Their poor form was also reflected in MI's overall season, as they finished ninth in the points table.
On the other hand, in the 2025 edition, Suryakumar had the best IPL season ever for any middle-order batsman. He had scored 717 runs with an excellent strike rate of 167.92. For these numbers he was also recognized as the Most Valuable Player that season. So, overall, it was a forgettable outing for him in IPL 2026.
