3 RR players who may be dropped from IPL 2026

Rajasthan Royals are entering the 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) looking to rectify the mistakes of a disappointing 9th-place finish in 2025. With new reinforcements after Sanju Samson's departure and the high-profile return of Ravindra Jadeja, RR have a lot to prove this season.

Along with the high-profile players who have already cemented their places in the first-choice lineup, the team will also have a few players who may not get playing time for the Riyan Parag-led side come the season.

Here are 3 RR players who could be ruled out for the entire IPL 2026:

3. Adam Milne (right arm fast bowler)

A franchise circuit veteran, adam milne He emerged as a dangerous New Zealand fast bowler who could bowl in excess of 150 km/h at will. With an arsenal of pace, bounce, accuracy and a variety of cutters and slower balls, he has made life difficult for batsmen around the world. He has previously played for Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL and was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 2.4 crore in the 2026 auction.

Ahead of Milne, Rajasthan Royals have England's Jofra Archer, RR's de facto attacking leader, returnee Nandre Berger and South Africa's hot prospect Kwena Mafaka. Berger and Mafaka both offer a left-back angle, which is an advantage compared to Milne. RR also have another left-handed batsman, Sushant Mishra, who was the joint-leading wicket-taker in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in 2025.
