“The series against Pakistan is an important stage for Zimbabwe and we believe the ODI team we have selected is a good one,” Zimbabwe coordinator of selectors David Mutendra said in a statement. “The presence of experienced players like Craig [Ervine]Alexander [Raza] and shawn [Williams] Provides stability, while young players such as Clive Maddene, Brian Bennett, Dion Myers and the uncapped trio bring energy and the potential for game-changing moments.”
“We felt it was important to retain the same T20 team that had excelled in Kenya,” Mutendra said. “This continuity allows the team to build on the cohesion and confidence that led to their outstanding performance.”
The white-ball series against Pakistan will begin with the first ODI on November 24 and run until December 5, with Bulawayo hosting all the games – three ODIs and three T20Is.
