At the end of all this, India took a big step towards winning the five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe and took a 2–1 lead with a 23-run win in the third match.
Gill and Jaiswal reunite on top
The return of three players of the T20 World Cup winning squad forced India’s strategy to change. Jaiswal has been a supporting opener – whenever India is played without Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli – and he returned to the top with Gill. As a result, Abhishek Sharma, in the second T20I, fresh his first international centuries, and Gaekwad had to play out of positions in NOS 3 and 4.

Abhishek had a brief stay in the middle, bringing Gill and Gaikwad together in the 11th over. Wesley Madhavre’s only over – 13th innings – allowed India to change gear. Gill first hit the legspiner for a six, before Gaikwad hit her for six and a four. Gikwad regularly used his feet to put Tendai Chatra and later Richard Narva, who removed Luke Jongve from his length in Zimbabwe Shee.
Gill secured his first place as India’s T20I captain to bring 36 balls to fifty. However, despite a long batting order – Washington was given a card at number 8 – India was in danger of finishing with bottom -web score when they were 130 for 2 after 16. Gill and Gaikwad picked them up by four Bai and one six each. But the additional bounce on the surface consumed gill in 18th, when he saw the scaffolding Mujarabani on the cover, but missed it to track Raza back. Gikwad hit some Lasty, but decreased by fifty.
India ended at 182, not even below. Two half -century partnership – 67 runs between Gill and Jaiswal scored 72 runs between Gill and Gaikwad, scoring 72 runs, and in the innings break, Jaiswal felt that it was enough.
Whatever was there, it was some of the lapse -quacks, two fell -Gira -one of Jayaswal and Gikwad -and a pile of Missfields.
Fielding let Zimbabwe go down again

Zimbabwe loses its way, and it is too late again
When Raza wandered in the line to hole from the second ball of Washington to the deep square-leg, the writing seemed on the wall. It became better for India – and worse for Zimbabwe – when Fielder Ryan Parag held a sharp on slip to reject four balls from Washington later.
But Mayers and Madande had other schemes. India’s decision to accommodate all its T20 World Cup returns left him thin on bowling resources. As a result, Abhishek and Shivam Dubey had to tie up four overs to bowl. Myers and Madande did not allow him to settle and hit a joint six fours and hit two sixes with him. The price of those four overs is India 50. Thanks to the initial inroads, it did not spend them in the day.
