WPL 2025 will begin on February 14, a week later than previously planned, with the Gujarat giants hosting defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore at the newly constructed BCA Stadium in Vadodara. As reported by ESPNcricinfo Earlier, Lucknow is the second new venue for the upcoming season, with Mumbai and Bengaluru also hosting matches.
After the first six matches in Vadodara, the tournament will move to Bengaluru for the next eight matches. After this, Lucknow will host four matches before the last leg in Mumbai. Mumbai will also host four matches, including the eliminator on March 13 and the final on March 15 – all at the CCI Stadium.
RCB will play four matches at its home venue Chinnaswamy Stadium, which witnessed huge crowds last season. As far as UP Warriors are concerned, they will play three matches at their home ground Lucknow. Delhi Capitals is the only team that does not have a home match in the five-team tournament.
Like last season, all matches will be single-headers.
