He said, “It is very sad what happened yesterday, and my heart comes out for the families of those who have lost their loved ones. I hope nothing will happen in the future because I think I think we are all responsible citizens and we should take care of all this,” he said as quoted by the cricbz.
If we cannot handle the crowd, it should not be roadshow: Gambhir
While Gambhir mentioned the importance of the ceremony after a difficult victory, he questioned the need for highly public performances such as Roadshow. He also shared that he never got value in such public functions during his sports days.
“I think people's lives are much more important, and I will continue to say. We can be a little careful not to keep such roadshow and perhaps they can close them closed doors or something like that. When I used to play, I didn't believe in the roadsho. I still do not believe them today. I could not handle the crowd in that way.
