The IPL 2025 season is in full swing as the tournament goes ahead for the match from 7. In particular, the game was played between Host, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Thursday, 27 March in Hyderabad.
The match excluded visitors from the domestic side, with five wickets comfortably. However, an incident during the game left former England captain and expert Michael Vaughan. During the match, SRH did something bizarre, which was not paid any attention by von. Hyderabad did a strategic time out when Lucknow needed only two runs to win the game, with four overs (24 balls) still left.
In most cases, the teams take either a break to disrupt the rhythm of the opposition or to discuss strategic changes to not fall behind in the game. However, Sunrisers Hyderabad's decision inspired Von to take Voan on social media, expressing his displeasure by sarcastically commenting on the host's move.
Vaughan wrote with a tongue-teser emoji on his 'X' handle, “Only in the IPL you can have only a strategic time, which requires 24 balls with 5 WTTs. #India,” Vaughan wrote with a tongue-teaser emoji on his 'X' handle.

LSG's major chase overpowers SRH's efforts
Meanwhile, talking about IPL 2025 Clash, after winning the toss, Lucknow Super Veterans decided to field first. The decision was duly justified by his bowlers as Hyderabad opener Abhishek Sharma and wicketkeeper-Baator Ishan Kishan failed to visit. As Travis Head, the man tried to perform brilliantly (47 runs from 28 balls), but young Rajkumar Yadav bowled him to make life difficult for the hosts.
However, captain Pat Cummins along with Anicate Verma helped to achieve a respectable clan of 190/9 in his 20-over Kota. In response, LSG also lost its opener Aden Markram quickly, but this did not prevent visitors from playing aggressively. Michelle Marsh pair (52 runs from 31 balls) and Nicholas Pudan (70 off 26 balls) set a match-defying 116 runs stand for the second wicket in only 8.4 overs to keep the team in commanding position. Finally, Abdul Samad's cameo (22 runs off 8 balls) sealed the game for Lucknow as he followed in 16.1 overs. With this win, he has reached the ways to win after losing his IPL 2025 opener.
