Rahul Dravid Talked about the role of Ryan Parag as a captain and a batsman in IPL 2025. The RR Head Coach spoke to ESPNcricinfo and felt the need to promote someone, as much as a parague to try and to give him more and more balls. Dravid felt that more parague gets to bat, it is equally better for the success of Royals.
“Look, Ryan is one of our best batsmen, let's be honest. And we want to give him as many balls as possible.

He felt that the decision would be taken by looking at the match situation in the coming days. “But of course, we will keep watching these things, we will keep assessing, we will keep watching how it goes. And yes, we know that Ryan has performed well on number 4, so it gives us an option,” said Dravid.

The former Indian coach has so far talked about Ryan's captaincy in his two matches. Dravid felt that it was not easy to lead the side when the opponents were striking well on a flat surface. Rahul said that RR did not panic even when things were not going to their way. He felt that the first game would always be challenging for a captain.
“When the team is scoring 280 runs, it is not easy for the captain [Sunrisers Hyderabad] On a flat wicket. The first game is probably a difficult game to be a captain. But I think the peace he had shown and the fact that our team was nervous, it was good, “said Dravid.
The former Indian star was sad that Sanju Samson could not lead him, but was happy to see Parah in a new role. He praised Parag's decision to bring himself into attack against KKR when there was some spin in the wicket.
